As part of its “AI for Every Indian” initiative, Google is integrating its Gemini AI across various products to better serve Indian users:

Gemini Live in Regional Languages: Following the initial launch in English, Gemini Live is now available in Hindi, with plans to introduce support for Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Urdu in the coming weeks. This feature enables real-time, conversational interactions with the AI assistant.
AI Overviews in Indian Languages: Google Search’s AI Overviews, which provide concise, AI-generated summaries, are expanding to include Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil. These summaries offer quick insights and direct links to detailed information.
Voice and Video Search Enhancements: Google Lens now supports video-based queries, allowing users to ask questions about moving objects, such as troubleshooting a malfunctioning appliance, by recording a short video.
AI-Powered Google Maps Features: Users can now access AI-generated summaries of reviews, search for specific items like themed birthday cakes, and receive real-time weather-related alerts, such as fog or flooded roads, enhancing navigation and decision-making.

Google is committed to fostering AI literacy and providing tools to enhance productivity:

AI Skills House: A new learning program offering free courses on Generative AI, Responsible AI, and Large Language Models. Initially available in English, these courses will soon be accessible in seven Indian languages, aiming to equip students, educators, and professionals with essential AI knowledge.
Google Vids: A video creation tool integrated into Google Workspace, leveraging Gemini technology to assist users in producing work-related videos, such as training materials and project updates, using AI-generated scripts and media suggestions.
AI-Powered Google Workspace Features: The introduction of AI Meetings and Messaging add-ons, along with an AI Security add-on, enhances collaboration and data protection within organizations.
